The rare dabska tumor: case report

The case of a 9-year-old child who showed a painless 6-month evolution volume increase in the attached gingiva is presented. Medication use was not reported, and satisfactory biofilm control was observed. The hypotheses were gingival hyperplasia and pyogenic granuloma. After incisional biopsy, microscopy revealed vascular spaces delimited by endothelial cells that projected into the lumen. The diagnosis was vascular malformation. Complete removal was performed followed by immunohistochemistry, which was positive for CD31 and podoplanin and negative for CD34.
