Osseointegrated implant in a multi-treated patient for rheumatoid arthritis with the use of tocilizumabe

The present study reports a case of an osseointegrated implant in a patient using the rheumatoid arthritis drug Tocilizumab. This an alternative antirheumatic drug is not explored in the literature regarding its effect on osseointegration.Case Summary: Tooth 36 had extensive longitudinal fracture. Extraction was performed and bone healing awaited. Subsequently, the implant was installed without the suspension of Tocilizumab due to the risks of disease activity and painful symptoms of the patient.
