BJC HealthCare looks to Texas for new chief nurse executive

BJC HealthCare, one of the St. Louis region's largest health systems, has hired Tommye Austin as its next senior vice president and system chief nurse executive, effective Oct. 3. She will succeed Denise Murphy, the system's chief nurse executive and a 20-year BJC network employee who the system previously announced would retire this year.
