LB961 Clinical contexts of long-term antibiotic prescriptions for acne: A qualitative study

This study sought to examine provider knowledge, preferences, facilitators, and barriers that underpin oral antibiotic prescriptions for acne with a duration longer than 3 months. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 30 key stakeholders: 22 academic and community dermatologists, including experts from the American Acne& Rosacea Society and acne clinical guideline authors, 4 infectious diseases physicians with expertise in antibiotic stewardship, 2 dermatology advanced practice practitioners, and 2 dermatology residents.
