Choice of protein & carbohydrate-rich foods may have big effects on long-term weight gain

(Tufts University, Health Sciences Campus) Small changes to the types of protein- and carbohydrate-rich foods that we eat may have a large impact on preventing long-term weight gain. The study led by Tufts University researchers also suggests that changes in refined carbohydrates can enhance -- or offset -- the weight-gain or weight-loss effects of certain protein-rich foods.
