Trends in 24-hours sodium and potassium intake, and association with all-cause mortality among US Stroke Survivors (S30.008)

CONCLUSIONS: Less than one in five stroke survivors in the US meet recommendations for sodium consumption. High sodium intake is associated with higher mortality after stroke among the elderly.
