Multiple embolic brain metastases, strokes and intracranial hemorrhage from a cardiac malignant mesenchymal tumor: A Case Report (P3.139)

CONCLUSIONS: This case illustrates the high neurologic morbidity and mortality of cardiac sarcoma. Anticoagulation likely increases the risk of intracranial hemorrhage. Palliative whole brain radiation can be considered in order to preserve neurologic function but this is bound to fail unless the cardiac tumor is controlled.
