Self-harm and suicide crisis of the teenagers turned down by CAMHS for support

THE UK's mental health crisis is pushing at-risk youngsters to the brink, with research revealing that 4 in 10 turned down for specialist support have self-harmed or had suicidal thoughts. Children with severe mental health issues are being turned away. One child who had been saved from jumping off a building was denied crisis support until his case was documented in writing by a GP.
