Intravenous Vitamin C in Adults with Sepsis in the Intensive Care Unit

RCT of 872 adults in the ICU with sepsis on vasopressors found intravenous vitamin C 50mg/kg every 6 hours for up to 96 hours increased the risk of death or persistent organ dysfunction at day 28 vs placebo (44.5% vs 38.5%, RR 1.21, 95%CI 1.04-1.40).
